pixil was known for stormin dance floors with hard nrg and hoovers, and this mix was originally recorded at the peak of those times. unfortunately my ghetto equipment resulted in a completely distorted recording that was never unleased into the public. four years later i found the original tracklist and finally re-recorded one of my favorite hard nrg mixes for your enjoyment!
ive been told this one is a favorite for the gym and for babysitting your six year old niece.

inspired by a series of paintings by one of my favorite artists, tara mcphereson. i find her work very inspiring in the fact that she obviously paints for herself and doesn’t seem to be trying to impress anyone, and in doing so, her work is effing awesome. she also paints dispondent looking naked women way better than i ever will, and for that she gets mad props from me, in mixtape form!
i made this mix pretty much entirely for myself with the expectations that its likely going to confuse or scare most people. usually i try to “be nice” but it just doesnt seem as genuine….. so i decided to make a mix totally for myself, not to impress friends or promoters, and i think the final result is awesome. there’s a couple mixes that are a little wonky but whatever, it’s all live and YOU SHOULD PROBABLY TURN IT UP.
please, listen to in your car / ipod / kitchen / trolling area as loud as possible. and if you enjoy, even better!
